Approach
I am committed to developing therapeutic relationships that are grounded in trust and connectedness. To foster this in my practice and at The Addictions Institute San Francisco, I draw upon various theoretical perspectives to best fit what each person or family needs. This include psychodynamic, family systems, attachment theory, developmental, somatic, experiential, neuroscience, trauma-informed, cognitive behavioral, and positive psychology approaches.
Exploring the struggles that come with substance use and addiction are painful and confusing. I listen closely, make room for grieving and support healing and growth with a style that is actively engaged, nonjudgmental and compassionate.
I offer hope to individuals and families until they discover their own from within.
